I was very surprised at the ignorance of the President when it came to the sensitivities of those who died on 9/11 when talking about the rights of Muslims and building a Mosque at Ground Zero. There was also the normal liberal misunderstanding of tolerance, America, our Founders intentions, and role of religious freedom and diversity in America. The point of building the Mosque at Ground Zero was to bridge a gap between the billions of Muslims in the world and those who misunderstand Islam. Islam being a religion of peace has decided to ignore the wishes of the 9/11 victim’s families and to push forward anyway, because of course, this is America, we are free to do so, and Islam is just trying to promote peace.

I stumbled across a post that was talking about a recent news report regarding the United Farm Workers and an initiative called "Take Our Jobs":

"The UFW wants to expose at least one false argument that is used against undocumented workers. That argument is that the undocumented aliens are taking jobs away from citizens and legal residents of the United States."

What an example of character.

A homeless man takes the time to fight a storm to fold an American flag, while no one is looking.

The New Class Warfare: The Public vs. Private Sector

During economically difficult times we need a way to unite under a common banner. Gender, race, and socio-economic class are so 20th century, and I have the solution to level the uneven playing field. As Americans, we first and foremost believe in liberty – you know that expression of freedom that allows individual talents and ideas to grow. My plan is to unite the country under a new “class warfare.” Unity requires a common enemy and what can be more common than appealing to the common authority – you know that thing we all despise because it wastes our money and tells us what to do, while smiling in the camera.

Reflections

On Friday of this week I was asked to give a commencement speech for a Christian High School. It was a great honor to be asked and I received a lot of positive feedback. I was a little reluctant to share my thoughts with my secular radio audience because as I have been told the last thing people want is a political preacher. Whether it is a positive or a negative that is what I have become and find a sense of true pride in this fact.
